Hi, my name is Milosz Pierwola.
When I was a child, I believed in adventures just like the ones in my favorite books and movies. But, as I grew up, I was told they are just fairy tales of a time long past. Older people who appeared wise convinced me be scared of the unknown, they said adventure was impossible.
|“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore…”
– Muhammad Ali
I tried their way and became a lawyer in New York City, until one day when I saw my future. I looked at the older men in my office; 5 years older, 10 years, 25… I was looking at myself and I saw a man who never lived life, who sat indoors on a chair rather than climbing mountains and swimming in far away seas. In that moment three years ago, against the advice of everyone I knew, I left my job and my career. Fully burdened with academic debt and facing a way of life I barely understood, I left to travel the world. I made my goal to figure out how to make this a career.
I am the everyman, the daydreamer and office worker, the city boy without a clue about the wilderness, and I set out to answer What if?
Thank you for visiting, I hope I can inspire you to follow your dreams too.
