In 2015, we set out on a 9 month campaign to paddle one of the most famous rivers in North America; the Nahanni River. The 21 day, 280 mile expedition was supported by over 10 sponsor companies and Parks Canada that provided gear and support for a safe journey.

The goal of the expedition was to put our boats into the first possible point at the start of the river and paddle 280 miles out through the entirety of Nahanni National Park. along the way we encountered one of the largest waterfalls in the world; Nalichu (Virginia Falls), four 1,000m (3,000ft.) canyons, the world famous climbing destination Cirque of the Unclimbables, and countless other incredible wonders.

The expedition was a success and EXP founder Milosz Pierwola became the first reported Polish person to paddle the Little Nahanni River. To see a gallery of select photography, please click below.
